Position

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project leader will be responsible for the complete management of the orders assigned by one of the company's main customers, from the moment of collecting the specifications to the completion of the mechanical assembly and the related testing.

Although it is a very dynamic and varied role, we can list the main activities:

  • Analyzes the customer's requirements and draws up technical offers with the related costs (including collecting quotes from external suppliers of custom-designed components)
  • Manages relationships with current suppliers and expands the Vendor List, in collaboration with quality for the validation of new suppliers, negotiating framework agreements for supplies
  • Plans internal and external activities and monitors times and costs, managing variations and changes requested by customers during the work
  • Checks the arrival of components from suppliers to ensure compliance with appointments with internal production phases (assembly, assembly and testing)
  • Coordinates the activities described above, remaining faithful to time commitments to allow the regular performance of final testing by the delivery date.
  • Requirements
  • Technical background in the mechanical field (expert, graduate in engineering, even with a three-year degree) with at least 4-5 years of experience in managing projects and orders of medium complexity, preferably in the machinery and industrial plants sector.

In terms of hard skills:

  • Knowledge of welding processes, mechanical processing, especially related to stainless steels
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Project planning and control skills
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Ability to manage multiple orders at the same time and to work independently.
