Beside its engineering offices, Alca Technology organises its covered area into two main communicating production facilities: the production area itself and the area dedicated to assembly and testing, completed by an independent clean room and an external equipped washing area.

Welding workstations with fume extraction, grinding dust exhauster and 10 ton overhead travelling cranes.
Assembly and testing area
About 1,000 sq m of clean, air-conditioned area with dustproof resin flooring, overhead and jib cranes.

Independent over-pressurised dust-free room with pocket filters, with certified cleanliness level on request.
Washing area
1,000 sq m of external equipped facilities dedicated to the washing of components.
Vacuum test equipment
Helium mass spectrometers, pumping units and ion pumps for leak detection and functional tests.
Offices and engineering
Design offices working with the main 3D drawing and calculation software packages.

Helium leak detection
Three helium mass spectrometers with a maximum sensitivity of 2×10-12 mbar l/s.

Pumping units
Trolley units with rotary and turbomolecular pumps down to 8×10-8 mbar with full range gauges, primary units for large volumes and a 500 l/s ion pump reaching 10-10 mbar.

Bake-out and recording
Heating cables and insulating mattresses for baking cycles, with multiple channel recorders logging pressure, temperature and background noise.

Furnaces and fittings
Degassing furnace for small chambers, vacuum brazing furnace, plus flanges, fittings, bellows and valves for vacuum and baking tests.
